Download vitaGizem Emre wurde am 22. Mai 1995 in Berlin geboren. Schon im Schulalter entdeckte sie ihre Leidenschaft und ihr Talent für das Schauspiel und verfolgte diesen Weg ehrgeizig. Im zarten Alter von 17 Jahren bewarb sie sich bei einer Schauspielagentur und so ließ der große Durchbruch nicht lange auf sich warten. In „Fack Ju Göhte“ spielte sie an der Seite von Elyas M’Barek und Karoline Herfurth die Rolle der Zeynep. Überzeugen konnte sie damit und so sicherte sie sich die Rolle für Teil 2 und 3 der überaus erfolgreichen Reihe.
Gizem kann aber noch viel mehr. In „Nicht mein Tag“ von Peter Thorwarth spielte sie an der Seite von Moritz Bleibtreu. Es folgten zahlreiche TV-Serien und Filme, wie „Großstadtrevier“, „SOKO München“, „Die Neue“ und „Zaun an Zaun“. Seit 2014 spielt sie die Rolle der Dana Wegener in der erfolgreichen Serie „Alarm für Cobra 11“. Im selben Jahr konnte sie erste Erfahrungen in Hollywood sammeln. So spielte sie in der US-Serie „Homeland“ mit Hauptdarstellerin Claire Danes mit. Auch in der Türkei ist sie keine Unbekannte. 2016 war sie in der beliebten türkischen Serie „Muhtesem Yüzyil Kösem“ als Attentäterin Yasemin, ihre erste türkischsprachige Rolle, zu sehen.
In 2020 spielte sie eine Rolle in der Serie „Wild Republic“, die im Dezember ausgestrahlt wurde. 2021 folgten der Netflix- und Constantin Film „Rumspringa“ und der Spielfilm „Soul Strip“.
Aktuell steht sie neben Jella Haase in der Hauptrolle für „Chantal im Märchenland“ (AT) vor der Kamera.
Der von der Constantin Film produzierte Kinofilm kommt voraussichtlich 2024 in die Kinos.

As a testimonial and #skinsider for Neutrogena, the aspiring actress gives insight into her life and beauty secrets: “Expression, appearance and charisma are important factors in my job. Born in Berlin, Gizem started her acting career at the age of 17 and has participated in various media productions since 2013, including films with actors such as Elyas M‘Barek and Karoline Herfurth in Fack ju Göhte. “It‘s quite important to believe in yourself and have confidence in yourself” is her message for women.
