For »Drunk and I Miss You«, KIDDO hybridizes urban pop with vintage sound – with self irony, a light touch, and accompanied by indie rock guitars and an oldschool bass line, KIDDO sings about a classic Saturday night dilemma we probably all know: right after ending a relationship, you stay up for nights on end, downing shot after shot to forget and to fight that little bit of remaining love in your heart.

But when the last drink is chugged and the dance floor empties slowly, you suddenly realize that it’s possible to work through those few troubles and be on cloud nine with your ex again – and before you know it, the phone’s in your hand and the alcohol-laden peace offering is on its way.

In the video for »Drunk And I Miss You« KIDDO blends her love for handmade music with her second passion, art, and experiences her tipsy mess in the equally colorful and humorous drawing style of the ‘60s and ‘70s.
